In 2010 we plan to start offerring classes on how to train your horse yourself.  We will be teaching the same Natural Horsemanship methods we use here at Glenmar Farms.  You will receive private instruction, or semi-private if you want to bring a friend, for both you and your horse on how to teach them the groundwork exercises they need plus how to do exercises under saddle to improve both their performance and responsiveness and help build your confidence as a rider.

These classes will be structured to not only build a good foundation for your horse but also customized to correct any problems you may be having.

You may schedule as many or as few sessions as you desire.  If you would like to come for a weekend, we offer over-night boarding plus have water and electric hook-ups for Living quarters trailers.  There is also a Comfort Inn located less than 10 miles away.

So come hang out with us for a weekend, learn how to make your horse a perfect partner, play on the obstacle course and if you like to fish, bring your pole!

Training sessions:  $40/session/person    (session usually last approx. 2 hours)

Overnight Boarding (stall & bedding only- you bring feed)  $10/horse

Over-night hookups for trailer (water & electricity)  $10/trailer

Owners with horses boarded here will receive a discounted rate of $30/session.

If your interested in taking some of these classes and do not have a horse to use, we have horses here available for you to use for the training sessions.
