Spring is an older broodmare we got in a trade along with Magic a couple years ago.  She is a bay mare, approx. 15 hands and was born 4/25/88.  She’s had quite a few foals and her pedigree is loaded with well-known foundation horses.  A few are Zane Grey’s Puzzle, Golden Rawhide, Golden Governor and Zane Grey top and bottom.

She has been DNA’d and is registered with the Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association with a V-factor of V-78.

 

We bred her to out stallion Baron and she gave us a beautiful little sorrell filly on July 1, 2008 that I named Summer.  She had a perfect, textbook pregnancy and delivery and is a super mom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I didn’t do any breeding in 2009 but I’m very pleased with how Spring’s filly has turned out and plan to repeat this breeding in 2010.
