Dusty is a red roan Quarter Horse, born 6/3/94 that we got a couple years ago.  He had been running with a couple other horses and a herd of cows on a large farm doing nothing for the previous 8 years.  We really had no idea what he would be like, but when we pulled the trailer into his pasture he came right to us and walked right on the trailer.

The first time we saddled him up and rode him he did great other than kicking out one time the first time he was asked to canter.  He was ridden quite a bit in 2009 by both experienced and novice riders.

He’s really laid back and gentle and will make an excellent horse for anyone.

We plan to put Dusty through our entire training program to get his training up to our standards and then offer him for sale in 2010.
