Pride is our “babysitter” and “people trainer”.  I use her to demonstrate our training techniques and teach people how to do them themselves.  She’s never bucked, reared, kicked or bitten and I’ve given riding lessons to a 5 year old on her.

She is an awesome trail horse and will go through anything.  She’s very responsive when you ask her to go but also more than willing to stand around doing nothing.  We showed her one time at the Virginia Gaited Jubilee and she placed 3rd in every class.  She’s had one foal before I got her. She ties, clips, great for farrier, loads, bathes and even does pony rides.  She’s the one I let people try out who come here wanting to ride a Foxtrotter.  She has an exceptionally smooth, slow canter.  Very easy keeper and has not had any health problems at all since I’ve owned her the last 3 years.  She is also not “marish” at all and you usually can not tell when she is in heat.  She has been DNA’d and is registered with the Foundation Foxtrotter Heritage Association with a v factor of V-69.
